This interesting game resembles Texas Hold’em in the fact that both of them are played with five common cards. On one hand Texas poker is played in one style but Ohama is played in two ways. One is Ohama high and the other is Ohama Hi/Lo split. You can play Ohama the way you want, either with structured limit, no limit or pot limit games. I will be explaining you Omaha high game as to how to play the game.

The rules of this game are pretty easy to understand and not so complicated. Usually the lowest limit played is $2/$4 which mean that the raise will be from two dollars to four dollars with a minimum call of two dollars. With three rounds in total, the example I will be giving has the lowest bid of $6 in the last round and of $3 in the first two rounds.

First of all, a random selection of a player takes place for the DEALER. A dealer is the player who will be the last one to play a bet in any of the betting rounds. The selection is absolutely random. Let’s talk about the start of the game. The game starts off with “two blind bets” which is also known as “Posted”.

And the game starts off with the minimum possible bet. Once we start off with the game and the players bet their blinds, each player is dealt with four cards. After that the players decide for themselves either to call or raise the bet and if they don’t want to bet, then they can just check.

Another important part of this game is the flop. The flop is the e cards which are dealt in the middle of the table and these cards are common to all the players on the table. When the dealer turns a card up in the middle of the table, it is known as a turn. The winner is determined when the player uses two of his cards with three from the board and form a hand which turns out to be the highest in comparison to all the players
